Remembering Aaliyah: 8 Years Later
Another year has come again, which reminds everyone how short life can be. It also reminds us that we need to live life to the fullest and to show others how much we care and love them. We all can agree that Aaliyah did just that. It has been 8 years and although the clock continues to tick as the days go by we will always have her in our hearts and minds. Why? Because she showed us just how to live life. Who can shout out a list of accomplishments, praises, and awards in their 22 years of life? Aaliyah was able to. However, that was not her style. The more she was praised the more it seemed to humble her. So on this day we should use her life as an example, which is to not let the fear of failure hold you back.
Please request her songs at your local radio stations, and I know that there will be a lot of fan made youtube videos in her honor, which I will be watching.
